COLUMBUS — New Directions Career Center plans a three-evening program aimed at helping job-seekers learn to market themselves effectivel­y.

Advanced Career Techniques will be held from 5 to 9 p.m. Feb. 5, 6 and 7 at the center's offices, 199 E. Rich St.

The program will cover a variety of topics including how to take inventory of their skills, write a compelling resume and interview effectivel­y.

The series features local business leaders and innovators talking about strategy, entreprene­urship, finance, recruiting and other topics.

Production takes place at Capital's Convergent Media Center that opened last year. Capital students, faculty and staff are involved in recording, editing and directing the series.
