Ten shows to watch or record:

■ “The Walking Dead”

(9 tonight, AMC): The mood is somber as the monster hit resumes its eighth season. The last time we were in the company of our zombie apocalypse survivors, poor Carl Grimes (Chandler Riggs) had been chomped on by a walker. Keep tissues handy.

■ Winter Olympics closing ceremony (8 tonight, NBC): Snuff out the torch — the party’s over. After 18 days of thrilling victories, agonizing defeats and baffling on-air gaffes, the 2018 Winter Olympics conclude.

■ “The Voice” (8 p.m. Monday, NBC): Season 14 of the singing competitio­n begins. Joining the coaches’ panel is Kelly Clarkson. who knows a bit about how such contests work.

■ “Living Biblically”

(9:30 p.m. Monday, CBS): In this new comedy, a film critic who wants to be a better person (Jay R. Ferguson) decides to live strictly according to the Bible. An epic struggle ensues.

■ “Good Girls” (10 p.m. Monday, NBC): In the new dramedy, three suburban moms weary of struggling to make ends meet decide to rob a grocery store. The cast includes Christina Hendricks, Retta and Mae Whitman.

■ “Unsolved: The Murders of Tupac and the Notorius B.I.G.” (10 p.m. Tuesday, USA): The 10-episode drama series re-examines the deaths of rappers Tupac Shakur (Marcc Rose) and Biggie Smalls (Wavvy Jones). It draws heavily from the experience­s of two former Los Angeles detectives who led separate investigat­ions into the murders.

■ “The Looming Tower” (streaming Wednesday on Hulu): Based on the Pulitzer Prize-winning book of the same name, the sobering drama traces the rising threat in the late 1990s of Osama bin Laden and al-Qaida and explores how rivalry between the FBI and CIA might have inadverten­tly set the path for the tragedy of 9/11. Jeff Daniels leads the cast.

■ “Survivor” (8 p.m. Wednesday, CBS): Believe it or not, “Survivor” is launching its 36th season. This “Ghost Island” edition features 20 new castaways and is pegged to the bad decisions of former players. ■ “Scandal” and “How To Get Away With Murder”

(9 and 10 p.m. Thursday, ABC): The drama queens of both shows meet for the first time in a special cross-over event. On “Scandal,” Olivia Pope (Kerry Washington) gets a visit from lawyer Annalise Keating (Viola Davis), who seeks help in getting a class-action suit on the Supreme Court’s docket. The action continues on “HTGAWM.”

■ “Atlanta” (10 p.m. Thursday, FX): Donald Glover’s “Atlanta,” returns for a second season. The new episodes are subtitled “Robbin’ Season” — a time when thefts, and desperatio­n, increase around the holidays.
