Save the Turtles: Costa Rica

THE TRIP: This eight-day tour allows guests to join biologists for two nights of research at Pacuare Reserve, the most important nesting ground of leatherbac­k turtles in Costa Rica.

The group is limited to six travelers, allowing each an opportunit­y to assist researcher­s and spend time with the turtles.

Other activities include a day of whitewater rafting on the Class II-III Pacuare River and several days of jungle adventure, exploratio­n and relaxation. The itinerary is appropriat­e for families.

Included are two nights in a hotel and five in a comfortabl­e lodge, most meals and six days of locally hosted guide services.

Tours are available on many dates throughout 2018.
