Save the Turtles: Costa Rica

THE TRIP: This eight-day tour allows guests to join biologists for two nights of research at Pacuare Reserve, the most important nesting ground of leatherback turtles in Costa Rica.
The group is limited to six travelers, allowing each an opportunity to assist researchers and spend time with the turtles.
Other activities include a day of whitewater rafting on the Class II-III Pacuare River and several days of jungle adventure, exploration and relaxation. The itinerary is appropriate for families.
Included are two nights in a hotel and five in a comfortable lodge, most meals and six days of locally hosted guide services.
