Nationwide expands concierge program

-

COLUMBUS — Nationwide is expanding a program that enables financial advisers to help their clients deal with health issues and other life challenges.

The Nationwide Care Concierge Program provides benefits to members of several Nationwide annuity products; those benefits include health advocacy and finding a home for elderly parents.

The program started as a way to assist Nationwide associates and was expanded to financial advisers, who might not feel equipped to assist clients with complex health issues. These services often are available through employee-assistance programs, but people generally lose access to those programs when they retire.

The program launched July for customers of certain variable annuities. Now it has been expanded to an additional 140,000 new and existing annuity customers, plus their

spouses, parents, parents-inlaw and the beneficiaries on their annuity contracts. There is no additional cost.

Financial advisers can get more information at careconcierge.nationwidefinancial. com. Eligible customers can call 866-799-2688 or go to healthadvocate.com/members for more information.

The practice also has a website, www.premierallergyohio.com, where patients can schedule appointments, read reviews and see a complete list of services. concordhotels.com/careers.

The hotel, at 409 Altair Parkway, Westerville, is scheduled to open April 26.
