A California-based technology company will establish a second headquarters in Dublin with the help of incentives offered by the city.

Veeva Systems Inc. will receive a $10,000 grant to help with moving and other expenses, plus a six-year, 15 percent performance incentive on withholding taxes collected for all employees from 2019 through 2024, capped at $135,000.

Veeva will relocate a project-support office with 39 employees from Hilliard to Dublin and will add 90 new employees at the new location by the end of 2023.

Katherine Allshouse, global chief information officer for the company, said the move to Dublin will occur in August, but she could not disclose the new address because lease negotiations haven’t been completed.

Allshouse said the move represents a $1 million investment for the company. Westerville City Council, Daimler will pay $175,000 per acre for a 2.56-acre site on the east side of Westar Place, for a total price of about $450,000. Daimler plans to develop the property into a campus for the Central Ohio Primary Care Physicians Group.

City Development Director Jason Bechtold said plans are for a $4.5 million facility of 30,000 to 35,000 square feet that will be owned by COPC when construction is complete.

Wildcat LLC will pay $460,000 per acre for 3.61 acres on the north side of Westar Place that is expected to become a retail development.
