Four people died in three crashes across central Ohio on Saturday.

Two of the victims were from Dublin, killed in a Pickaway County crash.

Sandra Windle, 57, and Timothy Windle, 56, were driving east on Orr Road when the accident occurred about 1 p.m. at the intersection of Orr Road and Rt. 23 in Circleville, according to the State Highway Patrol.

The patrol said the Windles' vehicle had pulled out from a stop sign and was struck by a Dodge Ram heading south on Rt. 23. The driver of that vehicle was Nelson Jones, 45, of Chillicothe, according to the patrol.

The Windles were killed. Jones was taken to Adena Regional Medical Center in Chillicothe with non-life-threatening injuries. His passenger, a 14-year-old, was flown to Nationwide Children's Hospital in Columbus with injuries that aren't life-threatening.

Meanwhile, an Ohio truck driver died after an apparent mechanical failure caused his tractor-trailer to overturn on Rt. 33 in Fairfield County.

Edward A. McClung, 36, of Brunswick, in Medina County, died of his injuries at OhioHealth Grant Medical Center in Columbus following the 9:11 a.m. crash Saturday, according to the State Highway Patrol.

He was driving east near Tarkiln Road, south of Lancaster, when he lost control and his truck traveled into the median and overturned, sliding into the westbound lanes of Rt. 33, troopers with the Lancaster post said.

McClung was thrown from the truck. He was taken to Fairfield Medical Center in Lancaster before he was transferred to Grant.

And in Franklin County, a person was killed in a singlevehicle crash in Pleasant Township in the southwestern part of the county early Saturday.

The driver was thrown when the eastbound car left Rt. 665, east of Graessle Road, and struck a guardrail and utility pole just after 1 a.m., deputies with the Franklin County sheriff's office said.

The person was declared dead at the scene by Pleasant Township paramedics.

The sheriff's office did not release the name of the victim late Saturday, pending notification of family members.
