Stromer was arrested by deputies and in the process of being secured when a woman, identified as Elissa Deja Garrison, 21, of Columbus, interfered.

When one of the deputies fired a Taser at Garrison to bring her under control, Stromer pulled out a gun, shooting Oesterle. Both deputies returned fire, killing Stromer. The sheriff’s office didn’t say where Oesterle was hit. Havens wasn’t injured.
