Details: To honor the 100year anniversary of the Harlem Renaissance, the Jazz Arts Group is reworking the 2017 show “Ladies Sing the Blues: Songs & Sounds of the Harlem Renaissance.” The ladies-only policy has been relaxed to include Jazz Age musicians such as Fats Waller and Cab Calloway.

Details: From April 1980 to March 1982, Tim Anstaett used the copy machine in the basement of an insurance company to produce the Offense, a music fanzine with a cult following. He’ll release all 902 pages of material for the first time at this event featuring live music performers from ‘zine contributors Ron House, Paul Nini, Nancy Kangas and Mike Hummel.
