Entertainm­ent bar to open at Easton

One of Cincinnati’s largest bar and restaurant operators will open its first Columbus location at Easton Town Center.

Four Entertainm­ent Group is expected to open The Beeline, a 3,000 square-foot bar, for the holiday season.

“The Beeline is the newest concept from an extraordin­arily talented hospitalit­y group that prides itself on delivering unique experience­s,” Easton chief executive Jennifer Peterson said in a news release. “No two are alike and this will be their first concept in central Ohio.”

The Beeline, named for a railway that once connected Columbus and Cincinnati, will be part of Easton’s $500 million expansion by co-developers L Brands, The Georgetown Company and Steiner + Associates.

The Beeline will feature a variety of entertainm­ent including DJS on the weekends, giant Jenga, cornhole, and an outdoor projection screen for movies and sports.

“Our number one goal is to create a truly unique experience for our guests, and we look forward to buzzing streets of Easton,” Bob Deck, 4EG Managing Partner said in the release.

4EG owns more than 20 bars and restaurant­s in Cincinnati and Chicago.

The Beeline is the latest of a string of tenants announced for the Easton’s expansion, on the north end of the shopping center. Others include RH Gallery furnishing­s store, True Food Kitchen, Ivan Kane’s Forty Deuce Cafe and Speakeasy, Forbidden Root Brewing and Pins Mechanical.
