Kamala Harris is right pick for Joe Biden’s running mate
Last week, Joe Biden chose Kamala Harris, a senator from California, as his running mate. Harris has accepted the selection with great enthusiasm. By naming her as his veep, Biden made not only a bold choice, but the right choice. Harris will be helpful to Biden’s rebuilding agenda for America.
She is a strong, smart woman with a great deal of experience and knowledge and so are a number of other candidates, all of whom are qualified. She is bringing to the table her experience and competence she gained while she served as a district prosecutor, attorney general of California and as a U.S. senator.
Unlike the sycophantic loyalty of Vice President Mike Pence to Trump, she would provide Biden sound advice on how to tackle immediate problems facing our nation: coroanvirus pandemic, economic crisis and racial tensions. She will be an excellent debate challenger for Pence.
Her pick would break the glass ceiling for women of color and would move America to a fairer, more pluralistic democracy.
American people can’t afford four more years of lies, chaos, division, lawlessness, incompetence and a president failing to take responsibility. The stakes are high because our economy, our health, and our safety are on the line.
The Biden-harris ticket would stop the madness in the White House and restore normalcy in America.
