Quantum Health to expand in Dublin
Health-care company Quantum Health is already expanding its Dublin headquarters just a year after picking the Columbus suburb as its new base of operations.
The company said Monday it is buying the neighboring building to its new headquarters at 5240 Blazer Parkway.
“Our growth validates that we are providing positive results for our clients and their employees,” Shannon Skaggs, the company's president, said in a statement. “Healthcare navigation is now more essential than ever, and we are incredibly grateful to our clients for their valued partnership.”
Quantum's offices were in Columbus. Last year, it picked a five-story, 280,000-square-foot space at 5240 Blazer Parkway. Renovations on the property, which will include a fitness center, game room and walking path, will be completed in the spring.
Once the work is complete, Quantum will start renovations on the adjacent 200,000-square-foot building at 5260 Blazer Parkway.
The company services more than 350 clients and 1.7 million members, helping people and their families navigate their health-care benefits.
Quantum Health received state tax incentives in March 2019 to expand its central Ohio operations.
At the time, the company had 790 jobs and promised to add 350, but growth has been much faster than that. It's already up to 1,400 employees.
Jobsohio, the state's economic-development arm, also gave Quantum a $700,000 workforce development grant. mawilliams@dispatch.com @Bizmarkwilliams
