Carmen Roberts, Jr., age 77, of Sunbury, died peacefully following an extended illness, on Monday, January 18, 2021 at his home surrounded by his loving family. Carmen was a man of many talents and interests having worked as a Gym Owner, Dog Groomer/boarder and Trainer and most recently as a Correction­s Officer

for the State of Ohio. He enjoyed photograph­y, collecting old cameras and knives, had been a bodybuilde­r and weight trainer, loved family vacations to Mackinaw Island and working on the family hobby farm. Carmen mostly enjoyed time with family and was most proud of his children. Carmen was born April 7, 1943 in Chicago, IL to the late Carmen Sr. and Loretta (Pearson) Roberts. He proudly served his country as member of the U.S. Navy serving in Viet Nam. In addition to his parents, Carmen was preceded in death by daughter Connie Roberts, infant children Tim and Kim Roberts, sister Joyce Davidson, brother Gene Roberts. He is survived by loving wife of 32 years, Regina L. (Wright) Roberts; children, Eric (Tammy) Roberts of Lexington, KY, Laura Roberts, Tina Roberts, Shayne Roberts and Zach (Jane)

Roberts all of Columbus; sister, Clara (John) Cain of West Jefferson; 15 grandchild­ren, 19 great-grandchild­ren. Funeral Service 12 Noon on Friday, January 22, 2021 at Devore-snyder Funeral Home, 637 N. State Route 61, (at SR 3), Sunbury, where the family will be receiving friends from 10AM until time of service. Mr. Larry Dewitt Funeral Celebrant. Interment with military honors at Sunbury Memorial
