Emmalou Nunamaker
Roller, 87, of Delaware,
Ohio, passed into the arms of her heavenly Father and personal Savior on January 14, 2021. Emmalou was born in July of 1933 in
Hilliard, Ohio to Henry and
Emma Nunamaker, and graduated from Hilliard
High School. In July 1953, she married Robert F. Roller;
they were married for 62 years until his passing.
Emmalou was a farmer’s daughter who loved flowers, plants, birds, and animals.
She also enjoyed making crafts and teaching others to do the same. Throughout the years, she opened her home to many in generous hospitality, hosted crocheted countless baby blankets and booties for family, friends, and preemies through Touching Little
Lives, Inc. Emmalou had a personal relationship with
Jesus Christ. She was an active member along with her husband of the Gideons
International, a trainer for
Evangelism Explosion, and was a leader or member in several churches, including Fairview Presbyterian
Church (Thomas, PA),
Trinity Assembly of God (Columbus), Christ the
King Lutheran (Columbus),
Northwest Presbyterian (Dublin), Christian Community
Church (Columbus) and
Berachah Church (Delaware). Emmalou was the loving mother of daughter,
Lynette Pellarin of Wheeling,
WV; son, Robert (Wanda) of Longview, TX; and son, Matthew Roller (deceased). The joy of her life were her 8 grandchildren,
Zachary (Thomie) Pellarin of Matthews, NC, Brady (Alexa) Pellarin of Bridgeville,
PA, Cody (Mariah) Pellarin of Wheeling, WV, Nicole
Roller of Logan, Ohio, Mark
Roller of Delaware, Laura (Ryan) Miller of Overland
Park, KS, Rachel Roller of
Mishawaka, IN, and Timothy
Roller (deceased); and her 6 great-grandchildren.
She will be missed by her many friends and family members due to her loving personality and generous spirit. A memorial service celebrating Emmalou’s life will be held at 3pm on
July 10, 2021 at Berachah
Church, 2440 US 23,
Delaware, Ohio. The Rev.
Jonathan Smith of Berachah
Church and the Rev.
Dr. Robert Roller will officiate. A reception will follow the service. Arrangements completed by Tidd Family
Funeral Home. Interment will be at the National
Cemetery of the Alleghenies.
