James S. Arrigo left his earthly home on April 5, to rejoin his wife, Pamela, who had gone on before. He was the son of the late Augie and Mary (Finelli) Arrigo, born on August 5, 1937. Jim grew up in the Grandview area, graduated from The Ohio State University and went to work for Conrail/csx Railroad. While working for the railroad he was asked to serve as best man for Tony Sacco and Ann Floyd had asked Pam to be her Matron of Honor. It was at that wedding he met Pamela Brandon. It was love at first sight, and they were married on May 25, 1979. Jim retired after 30 years to spend time with his wife and children.

He loved OSU sports and was able to attend many of the football games over the years. Jim was a faithful lifelong member of the St. Christophe­r Parish in Grandview and only stopped attending when his health declined. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife Pamela, several aunts, uncles, cousins, and other family members. Jim is survived by his sons, Matthew and Christophe­r of the home; grandchild­ren, Barbara, Matthew, Christina; sister, Maryann (Ed) Christoffe­rsen, and their three sons, Doug, Tim, and Dan, Memphis, TN.; brothers-in-law, Douglas Brandon, Centerburg, OH,

Rich Brandon, Mt. Vernon, OH; sisters-in-law, Sharen (Kerry) Rice, Lewis Center, OH, and Karen (John) Mechtly, Warren, PA. A Visitation will be held on Thursday, April 15, 2021 from 2-4 and 6-8pm at Newcomer Funeral Home - Northeast Chapel, 3047 East Dublin Granville Road, Columbus, OH 43231. A Funeral Service will be held on Friday, April 16, 2021 at 10am, at St. Christophe­r Parish, 1420 Grandview Ave, Grandview, OH 43212.
