Dr. Richard (Lori)

Weiner; dear brother of

Maida (Tom) Knox and the late Robert (Bryna) Weiner; brother-in-law of Dr. Carl (Freda) Fox, Eleanor Fox, Dr.

Irwin (Sandra) Fox; loving son of the late Maurice “Al” and Rosella Weiner; proud grandfathe­r of Rachel

Pearlman (Ethan Moss),

Lindsey (Kyle) Lastinger,

Nicole (Andrew) Welch,

Gabriella, Gaige Weiner,

Jessica Wyant, Allie (Josh)

Barker, Cassie (Marcus)

Jacobs and Chantz (Bethany) Wyant; and adoring great-grandfathe­r of Leora

Mackenzie Welch, the late

Ruby Marilyn Moss, Archer

and Ellie Wyant. Jerry was born and raised in

Pittsburgh PA. He attended

Rogers Elementary School,

Peabody High School, Penn

State University, and The

Ohio College of Podiatric

Medicine. He married the love of his life, Evie, in 1956. Together they founded Ambulatory Foot

Services in 1958, which later became Step Lively

Foot & Ankle Centers.

Jerry was Past President of the Central Academy of the Ohio Foot and Ankle

Medical Associatio­n. He was active in the Junior

Chamber of Commerce and the Columbus Department of Health. Jerry was an avid boater as well as an instructor with the Columbus

Power Squadron and editor of their newsletter,

Galley Gossip. He was a 17-year volunteer in the

Arts and Crafts department at Wexner Heritage House.

He enjoyed playing tennis, duplicate bridge, and wood working. A graveside service will be held at 1:00 pm on Monday April 12 at New

Tifereth Israel Cemetery, 2565 Performanc­e Way.
