Judith Lea (Hartke) Biby, July 8, 1938 - April 9, 2021. Judith Lea (Hartke) Biby, 82, residing in Sandusky, passed away Friday, April 9, 2021 at Parkvue Health Care Center after a lengthy illness. Judith was born on July 8, 1938 in St. Louis, MO to the late Edward

F. and Pauline F. (Pruitt) Hartke. Judith graduated from Grover Cleveland High School in St. Louis. She worked as a administra­tive secretary for the late attorney Wilbur Schwerer, Capitol University Conservato­ry of Music in Columbus, OH, and HC Nutting in Columbus, OH for nine years. Judith relocated many times throughout her life, and enjoyed her 14 years living near family in Sandusky where she was a member of St. Paul’s Lutheran Church before moving back in 2018. She had also been a member at Grace Evangelica­l Lutheran Church in Westervill­e, OH. Judith was a devout Lutheran, and her greatest joy in life was increasing her closeness to her Maker. Judith is survived by her daughter, Beverly K. (Ronald) Snyder-desalles of Evans, GA; sister, Paula J. Raab of Norwalk, OH; grandson, Robert Desalles of Evans, GA; niece, Dayna (Rodney) Scott of Norwalk, OH; nephew, Eric

J. Raab of Sandusky, OH; great-nieces, Morgan and Sierra Scott of Norwalk, OH; great-nephew, Garrett Scott of Norwalk, OH; and numerous nieces, nephews, and other relatives. In addition to her parents, Judith is preceded in death by Beverly’s father Ronald F. Biby and special friend Dan Perkins. Friends may call on April 14, 2021 from 4-5:30pm at Groff Funeral Homes & Crematory, 1 S Main St., Milan, OH 44846. Burial will take place at a later date in Mount Olive Cemetery in Chicago, IL.
