Dolores Quaintance, age 90, of Columbus, OH, passed away peacefully on April 12, 2021 at Brookdale Senior Living in Grove City, OH. She is survived by loving husband of 41 years, John Quaintance; children,

Darrin (Missy) Wolfe, Vicki Quaintance and Suzi Quaintance (Chris Reeve); grandchild­ren, Amber (Dustin)

“Sissy” Markins, and son Michael Quiantance. Dolores was born on Nov. 20, 1930 near the Ohio State Fairground­s. She graduated from Linden Mckinley High School. For many years she worked as a secretary at the Lincoln Electric Company and then was a homemaker. Following the death of Bill, she met her dancing partner for life, John, at the Jimmy Rawlins Dance Studio. They married in 1979. For decades, on Friday nights they could be found dancing swing, the waltz and the polka with friends at Milano’s restaurant on Cleveland Ave. Beyond dancing, John and Dolores were partners in everything. They enjoyed many cruises, decorating their home together, visiting Lake Erie, attending Livingston United Methodist church and spending time with friends at Germania, the VFW and the Swiss Club. Dolores was a wonderful cook who

loved flowers and music.

She was a fabulous party hostess who dressed to the nines and always found a way to make everything fancy. The family will receive visitors on Thursday, April 15 from 4-7pm at THE SPENCE-MILLER FUNERAL HOME, 2697 Columbus St., Grove City, OH. Funeral will be held on Friday at 11am at the Spence-miller Funeral Home. Pastor Angie
