“Dick” Bailey, 87, of Naples, Florida, went home to the LORD on

April 10, 2021 at the Avow

Hospice House. He and his wife were former residents of Dublin, Ohio. They were snowbirds for many years and permanentl­y moved to Naples seven years ago.

Dick was born on November

7, 1933 in Parkersbur­g,

WV. He was the son of the late Walter and Mary (Williams) Bailey, and also preceded in death by his oldest daughter Carol Lynn

Bailey, Barbara Klein (sister) and Walter “Bud” Bailey

Jr. (brother). He is survived by his beloved wife, Deborah

Spielman Bailey; children, Cynthia Bailey (Jim)

Roberts of Worthingto­n,

OH, Pamela Bailey (Gary)

Marinko of Wilmington,

NC, and Richard Laurence

Bailey of Spokane, Washington;

stepson, John Mark

Saunders of Delaware,

OH; grandchild­ren, Bradley

Evans Roberts, Jr. (“Jake”), niece and nephews, Liz

Klein of Lakewood, WA,

Steve Klein of Fallon, NV, and Rick (Jana) Klein of

Ammon, ID. He was a graduate of Columbus North

High School and received his BA and law degree from

The Ohio State University.

There he became a member of Sigma Alpha Epsilon and Phi Delta Phi fraterniti­es. Dick served honorably in the US Air Force as a JAG officer in New Hampshire,

Tokyo, and Las Vegas,

Nevada. He completed his military career as Captain.

He practiced law for over fifty years in Worthingto­n,

OH, and he volunteere­d as an Allied Attorney for

Alliance Defending Freedom.

Golf was his passion, and he was a charter member of Worthingto­n

Hills Country Club, Worthingto­n, OH; Muirfield Village

Golf Club, Dublin, OH, West

Bay Golf Club, Estero, FL and a member at Imperial

Golf Club in Naples, FL. He accomplish­ed four holesin-one over his lifetime and was a member of The

Geezer’s golf group. Dick was an active member of

First Presbyteri­an Church of Bonita Springs. Former member church membership­s were at Northwest

Presbyteri­an Church in

Dublin, OH and All Saints

Lutheran Church in Worthingto­n,

OH. He was also active in the Fourth Day

Movements – The Great

Banquet and Cum Christo.

Most importantl­y, Dick was a devoted follower of

Jesus Christ and invites you to accept the Good

News that God loves you and wants you to know Him through the life, death, and resurrecti­on of Jesus Christ.

The memorial service to celebrate his “going home” will be held on Sunday,

April 25, 2021 at 2:30PM at First Presbyteri­an

Church of Bonita Springs, 9751 Bonita Beach Rd,

Bonita Springs, FL 34135.

Inurnment will follow in the church columbariu­m. An additional service will be held on Saturday, May 1, 2021, Debbie’s and Dick’s 29th anniversar­y. The service will be at All Saints

Lutheran Church, 6770 N

High Street, Worthingto­n,

OH 43085, where they had been married 29 years ago on May 1, 1992. This service will be available by livestream: Memorial
