Charlotte Ann Flynn (nee Jones), beloved daughter, sister, wife, mother, grandmothe­r, great grandmothe­r, aunt, and friend, age 88, of Grove City, Ohio gently passed into heaven while peacefully at home on the morning of Saturday, August 28, 2021 and is now among the angels and saints in God’s realm. She was born on December 11,1932 along with her most precious twin sister, Alberta, in River Rouge, Michigan, but grew up in the German Village area of Columbus, Ohio and was a proud alumnus of St. Mary’s High School Class of 1950. Charlotte was wedded to her sweetheart of 68 years, Charles, spent 36 years as a dedicated homemaker raising her 5 children, was an ardent volunteer at the OLPH parish being fondly known as the “bingo lady”, and was a proud civilian retiree from the Columbus Police Department with 27 and a half years of devoted service. Charlotte’s faith was unwavering and there is no doubt that upon entering the kingdom the Father said to her “Well done, my good and faithful servant. Welcome home.” Charlotte is preceded in death by her cherished husband Charles Flynn, her parents Charles and Elizabeth Jones (nee Eleck), brother Robert (Rosemary) Jones, twin sister Alberta Downer, toddler brother John Paul Jones, her darling infant son, Charles “Little Charlie” Flynn, and her faithful canine companions Mac, Sarge, and Dotty. She is survived by her children, Steven (Linda) Flynn, James Flynn, Nancy Flynn, Susan (Jerry) Trimbach, and Loreen (David Freeman) Flynn; grandchild­ren,

Talitha (Michael) Berfield,

Scott Heeter, Julie Flynn, Alexander and David Trimbach; great-grandchild­ren, Kailey (CJ) Tracy, Kirsten (Aaron) Cowans, Nathan, George, and Jacob Snyder,

and Ryleigh Berfield; and

great-great-grandchild­ren, Caiden and Chloe Cowans; dearest baby brother, Louis (Linda) Jones of Hilton Head, SC; in-laws, Irene

Flynn, Mike (Casey) Flynn, Lois Mccleary, and Susie Flynn; and many nieces, nephews, and friends. Calling hours will be held on Thursday, September 2, 2021 at the John Quint Treboni Funeral Home, 1177 W. 5th Avenue, from 5-8PM with the Rosary at 7:30PM. Funeral Mass will be held at 10AM on Friday, September 3, 2021 at Our Lady of Perpetual Help Catholic Church, 3730 Broadway, Grove City, Ohio. Fr. Joseph Yokum, Celebrant. Procession will form at the church. Interment will follow at the St. Joseph Cemetery, 6440 South High Street, Lockbourne, Ohio.
