Michael Vincent Buscemi Jr. went home peacefully to the Lord on August 31 surrounded by family. Michael served in the U.S. Army, stationed in Alaska in 1968, which would become his home for the next 25 years. He raised his sons there, worked for First National Bank for 20 years and made lifelong friends. He later married his high school sweetheart, Terry, moving back to Ohio where he worked for Jpmorgan for 16 years. Devoted to physical fitness, he walked 8 to 10 miles a day through the neighborho­od, sometimes with his beloved puppy, Bo. Preceded in death by mother Shirley Cahill, father

Michael Buscemi, step-father Jim Cahill, and brother Jimmy Buscemi. Survived by wife, Terry; sons, Michael (Lauren), Brian (Miranda); stepsons, Nicky (Deanne) Valentine, Brian Valentine, Tony (Jen) Valentine, Michael Valentine; stepdaught­er, Angela (Ben) Weise; sister, Nancy Sulentic; half sister, Michelie (Adon) Fernandez; half brother, John David Buscemi; step sister, Sandy Kitts, and stepmother, Charlene Peacock; 12 grandchild­ren and 3 great grandchild­ren. As he settles into his heavenly home, we recall Isaiah 40:31: “But those who trust in the Lord will find new strength. They will soar high on wings like eagles. They will run and not grow weary. They will walk and not faint.” Family and friends will celebrate Mike’s life with a Mass of Christian Burial 10am Thursday, Sept. 16, Resurrecti­on Cemetery Chapel, 9571 N. High St., Lewis Center, OH 43035. Fr. Mike Watson, celebrant. Burial with military honors to follow at the Cemetery.
