Brenda J Thacker (Keller), age 78, passed away on Saturday, September 25, 2021, after a long battle with cancer. It would be wrong to say that Brenda lost her battle because

she never stopped fighting. No matter how sick she was, she was always determined. Through her, we know what resilience and perseverance truly look like. There was no quit in Brenda. Just because she is no longer here, it doesn’t mean she lost her

fight. Brenda was a proud graduate of Columbus South High School and a retiree from NRC / RMA. Brenda is survived by her sons, Terry (Melissa) Thacker and Trevor (Kelly) Thacker; grandchildren, Chelsea (Anthony), Nathan (Jenna), Jamie, Jacob, Aria, Mia; her sister, Norma; and brother, Harry. Brenda was a member of The Lithopolis United Methodist Church and The American Legion Post 677 which she served for many years. Brenda will always be remembered for her fierce love of her family and Columbus South High School with whom she supported her entire life. Funeral service will be held Friday, October 1, 2021, 1PM at LITHOPOLIS UNITED METHODIST CHURCH located at 80 N. Market

St., Lithopolis, OH, where friends may call starting at 11AM. Interment to follow at Lithopolis Cemetery. The Thacker family would like to extend our gratitude to Hospice Ohio for their attentiveness and care and Mom’s home care nurse, Jeanetta Dickson, who is an angel sent from heaven to help us over these last weeks.
