Michael “Mick” Courtright, age 77, of Grove City, died Wednesday, October 6, after years of dementia. Preceded in death by parents Elmer and Clara, brothers Larry, Clarence, and Edward Courtright, sisters Virginia Fleming and Diana Thompson. Survived by wife of 56 years, Jean Ann; children, Michael (Susan Stoneman) Jr. and Jason (Bobbi); grandchild­ren, Jason, Mason, Haylee Courtright; brother, Elmer (Judy); sister, Nola Conner; sister-in-law, Brenda Courtright; brother-in-law, Michael (Jody) Stanley; grand-dogs, Dax, Pixel, Pandemoniu­m, Tymber, Styx,

Tinkerbell, Tesla; numerous other family members and friends. Graduate of South High School. Veteran of the US Army 101st Airborne, where he earned the rank of Buck Sergeant in Vietnam. He earned a Bronze Star and the Army Commendati­on Medal. Retired as a 35-year driver for 7Up Bottling. Member of the VFW and Vietnam Veterans of America. He and Jean Ann loved travelling, classic cars, and collecting Sohio memorabili­a. One of his favorite memories was the day he went to Wash DC with Honor Flight. Family will receive friends 4-7pm Monday, October 11, at Schoedinge­r Grove City, 3920 Broadway, where a funeral service will be at 11am Tuesday. Interment Concord Cemetery.
