1939 - 2022

Charles Allyn Pfaltzgraf, age 82, passed away Wednesday, June 8, 2022. Chuck was born on November 25, 1939 in Columbus, Ohio to the late Herbert and Marjorie (Reynolds) Pfaltzgraf. He graduated from Wittenberg University, where he met his wife, Judy and then received a Master’s Degree from Xavier University. Chuck was a principal for Columbus City Schools. He retired from W. Broad Elementary, which happened to be the elementary school he attended when he was younger. After retiring, Chuck became a director for the Homes On the Hill and also worked many years for Hilliard City Schools School Age Childcare Program.

Chuck was a member of the Westside Kiwanis and an avid OSU Buckeyes Football fan, where he attended many games. He enjoyed traveling with his wife, cooking, golfing and bowling. The most important thing to Chuck was his family. Chuck attended every sporting and musical event of his children and grandchildren. In addition to his parents, Chuck was preceded in death by his wife Judy. Chuck will be greatly missed by children, Margie (Jay) Robertson, David (Stephanie) Pfaltzgraf and Charles Thomas Pfaltzgraf; grandchildren, Jon Cullison, Holly (Eric Daum) Pfaltzgraf, Riley Pfaltzgraf, Mitchell Pfaltzgraf and Caity Robertson; sister, Nancy (Tom) Zoelzer-pfaltzgraf;

niece, Justin; nephew, Eric; and many friends. Funeral Service will be held at 11AM on Thursday, June 16, 2022 at SCHOEDINGER NORTHWEST, 1740 Zollinger Road, Upper Arlington, Ohio 43221, where family will receive friends from 10AM until the service at 11AM.
