Betty Scott

On August 11th, 2022,

Betty Lee Scott, 86, of Pickerington, Ohio, left her temporary life on earth to join our Heavenly Father and her late husband, Donald Scott, for her eternal life in Heaven. Betty was born on June 6, 1936 to Clinton and Dorothy Whittington, of Portsmouth, Ohio, before planting roots in Pickerington. She attended Central High School in Columbus and retired from PNC Bank.

Betty is proceeded in death by her sister, Barbara Crabbe; brother, Ronald Whittington; sister-inlaw, Bess Whittington; nephews, Roger and Michael Whittington; great-granddaughter, Addison Harshbarger.

Betty was passionate about traveling, loved playing games with her family during the holidays, enjoyed working on puzzles, spending winters in Florida, watching Dancing with the Stars, Ninja Warrior, Buckeye sports, shopping with QVC, and everything in between. Betty led a life full of love, laughter, and joy, always making the best out of any situation. She cherished the moments and memories she made with her children, grandchildren, and great grandchildren.

Betty is survived by her daughters, Mary Feyh (Bill), Diana Schaffer (Rick), Susan Bower (Jim), and son, James Harshbarger (Laura). She is also survived by her 10 grandchildren, 11 great-grandchildren, and everyone whose hearts she touched over the course of her wonderful life. Friends and family can call at Dwayne R. Spence Funeral Home 650 W. Waterloo St, Canal Winchester, Ohio 43110 on Wednesday, August 17, 2022 from 10:30-12pm. A funeral service will begin at 12pm at the funeral home.
