HEBRON - CLARK, Paul H., age 78, of Hebron, passed away on Monday, August 29, 2022 at the Selma Markowitz Care Center (operated by Hospice of Central Ohio). Paul was born December 16, 1943 in Columbus, Ohio to the late Selwyn E. and Helen M. (Sharp) Clark.

Paul was a 1961 graduate of Watkins Memorial High School. He faithfully served his country in the United States Marine Corps during Vietnam and was the recipient of three Purple Hearts and the Vietnam Cross of Gallantry. Paul was a police officer with the City of Columbus and retired after 25 years of service. Paul was a member of the Liberty Union Post of the V.F.W.

He is survived by his special friend, Wanda Lucas of Heath; former wife, Cheryl R. Perkins of Pataskala; brothers, James David Clark of Lancaster and Dick (Shirley) Clark of Hilliard; sister, Barbara (Bob) Smith of Reynoldsbu­rg; dear friends, Stephen Pettay, D.O. of Powell, John Mehaffey, DVM of Pataskala, John King of London, Richard Gillilan of Logan, Vickie Smith of Heath; numerous other friends; his beloved Service Dog, Alice; and his cats, Cassie and Ruby.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a son, Paul David Clark in September of 2013.

Friends may call from 4-7 p.m. on Tuesday, September 6, at the Kirkersvil­le Chapel of Hoskinson Funeral & Cremation Service, 285 East Main Street in Kirkersvil­le.

A graveside service will take place at 1:00 p.m. on Thursday, September 8, at Kirkersvil­le Cemetery with military honors observed by the Baltimore VFW and the Columbus Police Honor Guard.
