GROVE CITY - Winston D. Bash, Ph. D., 85, died Thursday, August 11th at home from cancer. Predecease­d by brother, Marshall Allan Bash, father, Wade D. Bash, and mother, Rosetta Rowe Bash. Survived by wife of 63 years, Dorothy Wikoff Bash, son Wesley D. Bash, Bowling Green, KY., daughter Michelle (Scott) Rattan, Grove City, OH, and three granddaugh­ters and their families: Megan (Bill) Sauer, Angel and Eli, Galloway, OH.; Amanda (Zach) Stauffer, Lulu, Isobel and Macy, Convoy, OH, Amber (Daniel) Shively, Grace, Elijah and Titus, Albion, IN.,, step grandchild­ren, Ben (Manda) Rattan, Harrisburg, OH, Ellie (Dan) Rattan Scurlock, and Rachel and Andy Grizzel, Columbus, OH., and many loved cousins, plus niece Jen (Dave) Bash Robertson and nephew Mark (Ellie) Bash. Winston was a long-time resident of Clintonvil­le before moving closer to family in Grove City, OH. Winston earned all his degrees from OSU, retiring from OSU in 2001 as Director of the Food Industry Center. He was Sales Manager for FMC Corp. in IL. and Vice President of Friday Canning Co. in WIS. before returning to OSU. Bring your stories to share to the casual, outdoor, Celebratio­n Life, informal service at 2:30 P.M., followed by a reception on Saturday, September 10th at the home, 5336 Norton Rd., Grove City, Ohio. Wear RED, it was his favorite color.
