- Lisa Ann Hirsh Mcallister, age 55, of Marysville, formerly of Columbus, Ohio, died peacefully Thursday, September 22, 2022 at her home with her family at her side. A 1985 graduate of Amundsen High School, Chicago, IL. She was a devout Christian who loved the Lord. She was also a talented quilter and cross-stitcher, who enjoyed selling her work on her accomplish­ed Etsy site, as well as an avid talker and listener who loved the outdoors by spending time camping with family and friends. Lisa will be most remembered for being “the glue” among her siblings, and family. She was born on March 19, 1967 in Springfiel­d, Illinois as the youngest of six children to the late Keith Owen and Gertrude Esther Christine Schmidt Hirsch. She was also preceded in death by her niece, Joanne Vanwinkle and father-in-law, Jerry Mcallister. Lisa is survived by her husband of 27 years, Shawn Timothy Mcallister, whom she married October 23, 1995 in Jackson Hole, Wyoming; her children, Christophe­r (Cassie Chagnon) Schrank, Jr., Katherine (Kevin Gordon) Mcallister, Colin (Erica Myrvold) Mcallister, and Carter Mcallister; her siblings Carol (Charlie) Johns, Gary (Stephanie) Hirsch, Karen Vanwinkle, Debbie (Brad) O’loughlin, and Alan (Wendy) Hirsch; her mother-in-law, June Mcallister; a sister-in-law, Kelly (Steve) Staley; a brother-inlaw, Todd (Pam) Mcallister; her nephews and nieces, Josh, Jeremy, Brian, Erica, Cody, Mitchell, Andrew, Samuel, Madi, Ryan, Megan, Kirsten, and Logan; and many other relatives and friends. A memorial service to celebrate Lisa’s life will be held October 8th 10am at Linworth Baptist Church, 6200 Linworth Road, Worthingto­n, Ohio 43085. Underwood Funeral Home is assisting the family.
