Wright, age 88, of Hilliard was called home Wednesday morning February 15, 2023 at her son’s residence surrounded by her loving family. She was born July 19, 1934 in Pikeville, KY to Raymond & Maude (Spriggs) Lemaster. The oldest of seven children, she started working full time before her high school class graduated in Portsmouth. Previously owned and operated Giovannis Pizza in Hilliard and London. She was very creative and her passion was designing wedding cakes but most of all she took care and was devoted to her family “raising” her grandchildren. She was a member of Hickory Grove United Baptist Church. Along with her parents she was preceded in death by her husband of 61 years, Leonard F. Wright (2015); son-in-law Frederick Wilcox; siblings: Helen Percell James, Paul Ray, Vernon, and Gerald, brother-in-law Harold Percell, and sister-in-law Janey Lemaster. Survived by her devoted children: Greg (Dana) Wright, and Nancy Wilcox; cherished grandchildren: Mandy Wilcox, Dusty (Suellen) Wilcox and Morgan (Cody) Sobas; 7 great-grandchildren; 3 great-great-grandchildren; brother Gene Lemaster; sisters-in-law: Nancy Lemaster and Chellon Lemaster. A special Thank You for the exceptional care provided by Sarah and Erin at Viaquest Hospice. The family will receive friends 5 – 8 PM Friday at the Ferguson Funeral Home, Plain City, where the funeral will be held at 10:00 AM Saturday February 18, 2023 with Elder Todd Scheiderer officiating and burial at Wesley Chapel Cemetery.
