POWELL - Norma was born in Portsmouth, Ohio, passed away peacefully at her home in her husband’s arms surrounded by family March 9, 2023, at the age of 77. Shortly after she graduated high school Norma moved to Columbus for opportunit­y and by a chance meeting in a bowling alley, she met Fred which led to their marriage of 57 years. She is preceded in death by her parents, several siblings, and in-laws. Norma is survived by her loving husband Fred; son Rick, daughter Cindy (John) Molnar; grandsons Tyler Egelhoff (Tori), Gabe Molnar (Victoria), sisters Nancy Lykins, Mary (Keith) Nance and sisterin-law Beth (Steve) Ferry and all their extended families. She was side by side with Fred in their business along with the ELK family in making it successful. Norma enjoyed life, family games, shoes, her grandkids, fishing at their home in HAH, casino visits, trips with family, birds, colorful clothes, craft shows, road trips, family meals and dinner with friends. Norma survived her 15-year battle from cancer and various health issues without complaint and with the expertise, love and care from Columbus Oncology, Riverside IR, and all the nurses and doctors she encountere­d in these years. A big thank you to our special friends; you know who you are; for your unending support and love. A special day to remember Norma will be held at the home she so loved at a later date. No public services will be held.
