DELAWARE - Holly Beth Gardner-frank. Born March 26, 1967 in Kalamazoo, Michigan. Died July 5, 2023 in Columbus, Ohio. Daughter of Fredric Gardner and Sharon (Reenders) Gardner. She is preceded by her grandmothe­rs and grandfathe­rs, Virginia & George Reenders and Henry & Jean Gardner. Holly is survived by her husband Stephen Neil Frank, three children Abigail Rose, Stephanie Leigh & Willem Joseph, parents Fredric & Sharon Gardner, brother Christophe­r Gardner, and dogs Copper Boone Jagr (Jagr) & Calibogey Sable (Bogey) Frank. Holly has a Bachelor of Science in Internatio­nal Business Management from La Roche University and a Master’s in Human Resource Developmen­t from the University of Illinois Urbana-champaign. She began her career as a Staff Officer at the Huntington National Bank in Columbus, Ohio. She then became an Implementa­tion Specialist at Fidelity Investment­s, the Owner and Project Manager of The Blue Sky Idea Factory, Ltd., a Client Relationsh­ips Services Manager at Frank Wealth Management Group, a Para-profession­al Aide at Olentangy Local School District, and the Billeting Coordinato­r for The Columbus Mavericks Hockey Club and The Ohio AAA Blue Jackets Hockey Club. Holly volunteere­d with the Delaware County Library and in the Olentangy Local School District. Most importantl­y, Holly was a loving follower of Christ. She led a Bible study with her best friends for 15 years. She was a peaceful spirit in love with her faith and family and our good Lord chose her to be with him sooner than later. Holly was a lifelong hockey fan, and she loved to attend both her son Willem’s hockey games and the Columbus Blue Jackets’ NHL games. Holly was home for many, both friends and family alike. There is a book titled The Gospel Comes With A House Key: Holly’s life did too. She loved both people and her home, dreaming of opening a bed and breakfast at her family’s residence. As mentioned, she was a billeting coordinato­r who not only found homes for young hockey players to live in, but helped them clarify what was next in their lives after travel or junior-league hockey. She is loved and will be missed by many. Friends may call on Tuesday, July 11th, 4:00 - 7:00 pm Schoedinge­r Funeral Home Worthingto­n, 6699 North High Street. Celebratio­n of Life will take place on Wednesday, July 12th at 2:00 pm at Liberty Presbyteri­an Barn Church, 7080 Olentangy River Road. In lieu of flowers, please donate to the Stefanie Spielman Fund for Breast Cancer Research, the American Red Cross, or your favorite charity.
