The Commercial Appeal - Go Memphis
MEET THE SERVER: NIKKI MOSLEY
Server/bartender at Buffalo Wild Wings on U.S. 64.

Memphis.
When I was 14, Putt-putt Golf and Games picnic area. I served popcorn and cotton candy and stuff.
I lived in Murfreesboro, and I went to MTSU (Middle Tennessee State University) when I was 20. I needed a job. My friend in my sorority worked at Buffalo Wild Wings (in Murfreesboro), got me the job. That was 61/ years ago.
Being attentive, getting to know your customers on a personal level rather than just a table. Kind of get to know them, get to know their kids, have fun with the table. Make sure refills are good and whatnot.
My co-workers. We’ve all been friends for a long time. We go out together, hang out. We like to have fun at work.
Personally, I’ve got a lot more bills now than I did when I was 20. My parents don’t pay for everything anymore. So I have to make sure I do right.
When I trained in Murfreesboro, the girl that trained me ... taught me how to joke with a lot of customers and get more personable so you don’t have to really be awkward with them.
Josh Turner. He’s a country star. ... He lived in Murfreesboro and he’d come in with his two sons and wife. He’s really nice. ... He was just really chill. Low key. Never made a big deal.
Ole Miss games and Grizzlies games. Those are always super fun just ’cause it gets crazy and everybody is just having a good time and everybody is here for Memphis. ... Those are just good nights, money or not. When I go out to eat, it’s sometimes awkward just ’cause I feel like I should be doing it. Like I should be serving. ... It’s second nature, I guess. — Michael Donahue:
