Sat­ur­day — Video Game Melt­down!: The movies in­clude “Wreck-it Ralph” (2012), “The Wiz­ard” (1989), “Tron” (1982), the doc­u­men­tary “The King of Kong: A Fist­ful of Quar­ters” (2007) and “Su­per Mario Bros.” (1993). “Mini-rooms” with vin­tage game con­soles will en­able pa­trons to play games old and new, from the era of Pong and Atari to the modern age of Nin­tendo, Plays­ta­tion and Xbox. Sept. 24 — The Roller Derby Pic­ture Show!: Movies will in­clude “Roller­ball” (1975), the doc­u­men­tary “Hell on Wheels” (2007) and “The Un­holy Rollers” (1972). Pa­trons can sit within a rink as the “rol­ler­girls” of Mem­phis Roller Derby whirl around their chairs. As Mar­tin de­scribes it, with old-school bal­ly­hoo: “Lose your­self in bone-crunch­ing, body-slam­ming, speed­de­mon derby ac­tion, both on the screen and wheel­ing right in front of you!” Oct. 22-23 — Spooky Cinema: A Kids Hal­loween Movie Marathon! Movies will in­clude “Mon­ster House” (2006), “Ho­cus Po­cus” (1992), “The Ad­dams Fam­ily” (1991), “Grem­lins” (1984) and “The Mon­ster Squad” (1987). The room will be trans­formed into a kid-friendly in­ter­ac­tive haunted house, and “It’s the Great Pump­kin, Char­lie Brown” and episodes of “Goose­bumps” will be shown be­tween fea­tures. Nov. 12-13 — World of Wonka!: This “45th an­niver­sary in­ter­ac­tive trib­ute to the orig­i­nal clas­sic” will in­clude two screen­ings of “Willy Wonka & the Cho­co­late Fac­tory” (1971), with the an­i­mated “James and the Gi­ant Peach” (1996) in be­tween. “Wonka” will be en­hanced with au­di­ence sin­ga­longs, shift­ing sets for a “shadow cast,” and “in­ter­ac­tive candy,” in which ac­tors cos­tumed as “Oom­paLoom­pas” will pass out candy for pa­trons to eat in tan­dem with the char­ac­ters in the movie.
