Sun Records Tribute
Grammy Award winner David Ball will bring his band to Memphis to perform at the Al Chymia Shrine Auditorium, 5770 Shelby Oaks, Saturday at 7:30 p.m. featuring WS Holland and the Man In Black Show, will pay tribute to the biggest stars of the Sun Records era: Elvis, Johnny Cash, Carl Perkins and Jerry Lee Lewis. Meet bassett hounds that are available for adoption by Belly Rubs Bassett Rescue at the Collierville PetCo, 10315 E. Shelby Dr. The adoption will be 11 a.m. to 1 p.m.
Mid-South Greyhound Adoption Option will be at PetCo, 1250 N. Germantown Parkway, from 12–2 p.m. dance memorized. Those trying out must also bring a recent photograph. If you plan to sing or dance, bring a CD or be prepared to sing a cappella. If you are unable to present something memorized, material will be provided. Needed are 21 actors — 17 will be 9-16 years old and four adults.
