Baltimore Ravens standouts Terrell Suggs, Steve Smith and Elvis Dumervil are among six players who will start training camp on the physically unable to perform list. Suggs, a six-time Pro Bowl linebacker, and Smith, a 37-year-old receiver, tore Achilles tendons last season. Dumervil, who had six sacks in 2015, is recovering from foot surgery. The Ravens also placed receiver Breshad Perriman, running back Trent Richardson and cornerback Jumal Rolle on the PUP list . ... Chicago Bears offensive lineman Nate Chandler has retired at 27. He sat out last season because of a right knee injury . ... The Bengals released safety Taylor Mays. Mays has started 15 games in his career, including five last season for the Oakland Raiders.
