COURTS
Former Mississippi State quarterback Dak Prescott goes to trial Wednesday on a charge of driving under the influence after Starkville Municipal Court Judge Rodney Faver denied a motion to dismiss the case. Prescott was charged with speeding in March after he was pulled over for driving 41 mph in a 25-mph zone. He was charged with DUI first — a misdemeanor — after admitting drinking at least one beer. Prescott was drafted by the Dallas Cowboys in the second round this year.
