Gov gets schooled
Tennessee Gov. Bill Haslam sits with a group of students in Karen Vogelsang’s third grade class at Winridge Elementary School in Memphis on Thursday morning. The stop was a part of the governor’s “Capitol to Classroom” tour. “Tennessee is the fastest-improving state in the country thanks to the hard work of our teachers and students,” said Haslam. Vogelsang is the 2014-15 Tennessee Teacher of the Year and a member of the Governor’s Teacher Cabinet.
