Around 9:30 p.m. that Saturday, Terralonce Stanford went to the 3400 block of Graceland in Whitehaven to try to get his car, which had been stolen two weeks earlier. Two suspects came out of an apartment and confronted him, police said. They opened fire, and Stanford was pronounced dead on the scene.

Police have named LaCurtis Odom and Montrell Clark, both 22, as suspects. Warrants have been issued for their arrest, police said.
