Arnold Schwarzenegger left a Los Angeles hospital Friday after heart surgery, his spokesman said. Daniel Ketchell said the 70year-old “Terminator” actor and former California governor is “home and doing incredibly well.”
Schwarzenegger underwent a scheduled procedure March 29. A pulmonic valve originally installed in 1997 for a congenital heart defect had to be replaced. He’s been tweeting from Cedars-Sinai Medical Center for several days, including this one Monday:
“It’s true: I’m back! I went to sleep expecting to wake up with a small incision and woke up with a big one – but guess what? I woke up, and that’s something to be thankful for.”
Bill Cosby’s lawyers want juror ousted over ‘guilty’ comment
A man selected as a juror in Bill Cosby’s sexual assault retrial thinks the comedian is guilty and wants the case to be over, according to a prospective juror who said the man offered his opinion as they chatted during jury selection.
Cosby’s lawyers seized on the alleged comment and asked Friday that the juror be removed immediately from the retrial, which begins Monday in suburban Philadelphia with opening statements. They attached an affidavit from the prospective juror who talked to the man.
He is said to have stated: “I just think he’s guilty, so we can all be done and get out of here.”
Prosecutors had no comment on the alleged conversation.
