A 27-year-old woman has been charged in connection with the 2017 beating death of a man who was found tied up and naked behind a Memphis office complex.

Bridgett Stafford of Covington, Tenn. has been charged with accessory after the fact to first-degree murder in the death of Robert Glidden.

Glidden, 60, was found by police on July 31, 2017 near a dumpster and a drainage pond in the back of 2175 Business Center Drive, off Elmore Drive and Covington Way.

He was pronounced dead on the scene.

Eric Curry, 34, and Nicholas Waugh, 31, were charged with first-degree murder in Glidden's death, according to arrest records.

Witnesses told police that Curry and Waugh were seen with Glidden inside his vehicle parked outside of Curry's home in the 5300 block of Timberdale on the day he was killed, according to an arrest affidavit.

Police said witnesses told investigators that they saw Glidden in his car with his hands and mouth taped while Curry and Waugh allegedly beat him with several items, including a taser gun, a gun and a brick.

The suspects then took the victim to a hotel on Sycamore View and Macon Road where the torture continued until they gained access to the victim's bank and credit card accounts, police said.

Stafford arrived at the hotel and was told about the robbery and kidnapping of the victim, according to an affidavit.

She is accused of driving the suspects to a store where they bought more than $1,500 worth of cell phones and accessories using the victim's credit card.

Stafford was arrested April 26. Her bond has been set at $12,500.

Curry and Waugh remain in jail under no bond. Waugh will be in court on May 18.
