Bill Cosby has fired the high-powered defense team whose aggressive tactics failed to sway jurors from convicting him of sexual assault in April.

Cosby’s spokesman Andrew Wyatt said Thursday that Tom Mesereau and the rest of the retrial team have been replaced by a Philadelphia-area defense attorney with experience handling sex crimes cases.

The new lawyer, Joseph Green, didn’t immediately return a message. Wyatt wouldn’t say why the change was made.

Cosby, 80, is to be sentenced Sept. 24 on three counts of aggravated indecent assault for drugging and assaulting a woman at his suburban Philadelphia mansion in 2004.

Paris Jackson scrubs graffiti from father’s Hollywood star

Paris Jackson paid respects to her late father, Michael Jackson, cleaning graffiti off his star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame.

Jackson, 20, posted a picture on Instagram of the work on crowded Hollywood Boulevard, scrubbing away the vandal’s spray paint with rubbing alcohol and a paper towel.

“Some people have no (expletive) respect,” Jackson wrote.

The IMG model was clearly happy with the final product, showing the spotless star in the same form as when Jackson was honored with it in 1984.

The star, at 6927 Hollywood Boulevard, is in front of the TCL (Graumann’s) Chinese Theater.
