TODAY’S BIBLE VERSE

-

Wealth is worthless in the day of wrath, but righteousness delivers from death. Proverbs 11:4

Plenty of common ground in US

I find it hard to understand why we can’t come together to improve life for all Americans. I read viewpoints that attack our president without making any suggestions on what we can do to improve on what needs to be solved. Why do we create laws and then fail to follow them? Why do we not resolve immigration when it has been going on for the past two decades without solution from both parties? Why do we not join together to balance our fair trade policies? Why do we judge people before we even sit down and discuss our concerns? As an independent voter I lean toward keeping the good things happening and the negative rhetoric and lack of treating people in a civil manor a complete turnoff. Your bias reminds me of the old Democratic parties’ treatment of minorities. God bless America.

Trade deficit? Buy American

U.S. consumers will be paying more for many items because of tariffs. China’s response to tariffs on soybeans and other items will harm farmers and others. Now taxpayer money is to be paid to farmers to keep their support.

We as taxpayers, consumers and farmers are paying in multiple ways to solve the wrong problem. There is a trade deficit because we buy more of their stuff than they do of our stuff. We can help eliminate the problems by buying American products and voting for free trade candidates.
