- Evan Barnes Memphis Commercial Appeal USA TODAY NETWORK - TENNESSEE

Memphis got back on the winning track against Georgia State but lost favor with the voters in this week's Amway Coaches Poll.

The Tigers received no votes in this week's poll after receiving three votes last week following their loss to Navy. For the second consecutive week, Memphis also received no votes in the Associated Press Top 25 poll.

Among AAC teams in the coaches' poll, Central Florida held steady at No. 18. South Florida received 45 votes; Cincinnati received 10; and Houston received two. In the AP poll, UCF moved up two spots to No. 16, and South Florida was the only other AAC team receiving votes (14).

As Memphis fell completely out of the coaches' poll, both Tennessee and Vanderbilt received two votes each. Vanderbilt received three votes last week and remained in the poll despite a narrow loss to Notre Dame.

Tennessee made its first appearance this season after defeating East Tennessee State and UTEP in consecutive weeks. Neither Tennessee nor Vanderbilt received votes in the AP poll.

Arkansas State also received two votes in the coaches' poll after beating Tulsa. Fresno State received one vote after beating a winless UCLA team.

Memphis will try to impress the voters on Saturday with its home game against South Alabama. Kickoff is at 7 p.m.
