Taziki’s Mediterranean Cafe to open in Bartlett
Taziki’s Mediterranean Café has announced it will open a new location in Bartlett over the winter.
The new Taziki’s will be at 7974 U.S. 64. It will seat approximately 100 people inside and 25 people on the outdoor patio. The restaurant will be 3,000 square feet.
This will be the third location in the Memphis area for this Mississippibased chain. Current locations are in East Memphis at 540 S. Mendenhall Road and one in Germantown at 7850 Poplar Ave. The new Taziki’s will be the 14th location in Tennessee.
“I have been a Bartlett resident for many years and know Bartlett needs a Mediterranean option that serves healthy fresh food,” said Isaac Riddle of the reason they chose Bartlett for a new Taziki’s location.
Taziki’s is a rapidly expanding brand, named one of America’s fastest growing leaders by Inc. 5000 in the fresh-casual industry. Having more than tripled in size since 2011, Taziki’s has more than 86 restaurant locations, spanning across 17 states nationally. Development plans include building the brand in existing markets as well as entering into new areas across the country by 2023.
Taziki’s menu is known for its Mediterranean-inspired recipes prepared fresh daily, including freshly grilled meats, original sauces and healthy side dishes, as well as vegetarian and glutenfree options.
Taziki’s does not use fryers or microwaves. Grilled Lamb Gyro, Grilled Chicken Feast, Mediterranean Salad with Salmon, and various vegetarian options are among Taziki’s most popular healthy entrees.
With more than half of its business coming from takeout orders, the new restaurant will have a larger space for customers to retrieve their food at the “To Go” counter than the other Memphis locations.
Taziki’s Bartlett is looking for employees to fill all positions including cashiers, cooks and management. Taziki’s will host a job fair from 10 a.m.-4 p.m. Oct. 16 at the Bartlett restaurant. Interested applicants can email Bartlett@tazikiscafe.com.
