Shops of Saddle Creek has two new stores expected to open to customers before the end of the year, according to a spokesperson with the shopping center.

Xfinity, Comcast’s cable company, and Nail Bar & Co. will bring the total number of tenants in Saddle Creek to 44. Both will be located in Saddle Creek North.

Xfinity will have 3,124 square feet, next to Chico’s in the former Ann Taylor space. Xfinity plans to open in mid-November.

This will be the second store in the Memphis area, joining the Poplar Plaza location in East Memphis.

In May, Xfinity announced a layout for its new stores to appeal to browsers and those who wanted to visit with the purpose of paying and leaving.

“(New stores) are much more modern, interactive and well staffed, and allow for customers to test-drive services, pay bills or order new product,” said Alex Horwitz, vice president of public relations.

The company divided stores into zones by services: mobile, cable, internet and security system. It also wanted to do away with signage to draw customers into stores.

Nail Bar & Co. will have nearly 2,300 square feet of space when it opens in the former Sunglass Hut and a portion of the former Coldwater Creek. This will be Nail Bar’s third store. Other locations are in Harbor Town and Oxford, Mississippi.

Efforts to reach Nail Bar & Co. were unsuccessful.

?? XFINITY ?? New Xfinity stores will be separated into zones by services. Saddle Creek will open an Xfinity store later this year.
