Huey’s Cordova to temporarily close for renovations
Huey’s Cordova, 1771 N. Germantown Parkway, will temporarily close to make needed upgrades to the restaurant.
The restaurant will close its doors to the public for 12 to 14 days, beginning Oct. 15.
“This is our third location out of our nine stores, and (it) opened in 1994. We have been very fortunate to have such great success in Cordova and, as a result, we are able to do these enhancements and upgrades,” said Steve Voss, vice president of Huey’s Operations. “Huey’s Cordova will turn 25 next year, so we are very excited for these improvements for our guests and our employees. We will begin some of the work while we are still open so we can minimize the downtime and keep the burgers and brews flowing.”
Traditional Construction Co. Inc. will make the improvements to the building.
The renovations to the Cordova location include several areas of the building.
❚ The bathrooms will be fully renovated and remodeled to look brand new and attractive.
❚ The dining room floor will be redone and stained.
❚ The bar countertop will be refurbished along with some other cosmetic woodwork staining in the dining area, as well as a fresh coat of interior paint.
❚ The kitchen will undergo major renovations including new floors, redesigning of walk-in coolers, upgraded lighting, and new ceilings and walls.
During construction, the other eight Huey’s locations will be open for business as normal.
Customers can keep up with the renovation progress on Huey’s website at hueyburger.com and on Huey’s social media.
