Troyer’s representatives said at the time that the 49-year-old actor had struggled with depression and thoughts of suicide. He had been admitted to a hospital in similar condition the year before.
President Trump, Kanye West have White House lunch
President Donald Trump had lunch Thursday with rapper Kanye West, whom he calls a longtime friend. Trump on Thursday told “Fox and Friends”: “He’s a different kind of guy and that’s OK with me.”
The White House had said they would talk about manufacturing, prison reform, preventing gang violence and reducing violence in Chicago, where West grew up. Also attending was former NFL great Jim Brown, a civil rights leader who’s met with Trump previously.
Trump recently tweeted praise for West, who closed a “Saturday Night Live” show wearing a “Make America Great Again” hat and delivering an unscripted pro-Trump message after the credits rolled.
