1. Lausanne (8-0): Lausanne’s 41-14 win over University School of Jackson extended the Lynx’s winning streak to 35 games. Michigan commitment Eric Gray carried 12 times for 214 yards and four touchdowns. Sky Forrest ran for two touchdowns and threw for 90 yards. It was another dominant offensive showing for Lausanne, which has scored 40 points or more in every game except for its overtime win over Whitehaven. Lausanne hosts FACS and Commercial Appeal Athlete of the Week Cole Putnam on Friday in the regular-season finale. 2. Germantown (9-0): Germantown will have a chance to finish 10-0 for the second straight season Friday when it

plays Whitehaven. Whitehaven has won six of the past seven meetings, but Germantown won 29-21 last season. Germantown defeated Central 28-7 Friday night. 3. Horn Lake (9-0): Horn Lake has a chance to improve to 10-0, but unlike Germantown, Friday will not be the regular-season finale. The Eagles have two games left – Friday night at Tupelo and home against Southaven on Nov. 2. Horn Lake beat Hernando 37-16 Friday night. 4. MUS (8-0): MUS has not given up a point since Sept. 21 at Haywood. The Owls posted their third straight shutout Friday in a 57-0 win over Douglass. Hunter Kendall and Jonathan White combined for three touchdowns on the ground, while Sellers Shy threw for 163 yards and two touchdowns. MUS will be on the road this week against Christian Brothers. 5. Whitehaven (7-2): Whitehaven picked up a 41-24 region win over White Station on Friday. This week brings a huge matchup with undefeated Germantown. Both teams are 2-0 in the region, and the winner takes home the region title. 6. Olive Branch (8-1): Olive Branch bounced back from its loss to West Point with a 17-0 win over Lake Cormorant. Dakota Braswell rushed for 119 yards and two touchdowns on 17 carries. The Conquistad­ors travel to Lafayette this week. 7. Christian Brothers (8-1): Christian Bothers blew out Wooddale 42-8 on Friday, setting up a showdown with visiting MUS this week. In region play, the Purple Wave and Owls both beat St. Benedict by 35 points and picked up wins against Briarcrest. MUS shut out Briarcrest 38-0, while Christian Brothers’ game was much closer at 17-14. 8. Kirby (8-1): Kirby’s 33-20 victory over Munford marked the first time the Cougars gave up more than 14 points since Sept. 7 at Olive Branch. The offense has scored at least 33 points in every game since Kirby’s lone loss to Olive Branch. Kirby plays Overton, which is on a two game win streak, this week to close out the regular season 9. Houston (8-1): Houston smashed Colliervil­le 40-6 on Friday. Quarterbac­k Ethan Burns was 14-of-20 passing for 249 yards with three touchdowns. He also caught a 2-yard touchdown pass and had a 1-yard rushing touchdown. Grayson Hitt caught two touchdown passes, and Jordan Monk had 108 yards receiving. Lincoln Pare rushed for 157 yards and a touchdown on 27 carries. The Cougars face St. George’s this week on the road. 10. Fayette Academy (8-1): Fayette Academy won 42-6 over Rossville Christian. It was the Vikings’ sixth time putting up 40 points or more. Fayette Academy will look to improve to 9-1 this week against Jackson Christian School.
