Police: Man shot during dispute involving rapper Tekashi69

Police say a bodyguard shot a member of a rapper’s entourage in front of a Manhattan restaurant. The shooting in front of Philippe Chow on the Upper East Side happened just before 6 p.m. Friday.

Police say the victim was part of a group trying to enter the restaurant with rapper Daniel Hernandez, who performs as Tekashi69 or 6ix9ine.

Hernandez was in court earlier Friday and was granted probation instead of jail time in connection with a video he made of a 13-year-old girl having sex.

Deputy Inspector Kathleen Walsh said a private security guard fired a licensed gun at a man who had hit him with a chair. The wounded man was hospitalized with injuries that weren’t life-threatening.

Judge limits scope of evidence in Trump accuser’s lawsuit

A former “Apprentice” contestant who sued President Donald Trump for defamation cannot force him to turn over evidence about other women who have accused him of making unwanted sexual advances, a judge ruled Friday.

The New York Times reported that Judge Jennifer Schechter said Trump must respond to questions directly related to Summer Zervos’ allegation that he inappropriately kissed and groped her twice in 2007.

But, the judge said, during a hearing in state court in Manhattan, that Zervos had not demonstrated that evidence related to other women’s claims had “any legitimate legal bearing” on Zervos’ lawsuit against Trump.

Zervos, a California restaurateur, appeared on Trump’s former reality show, “The Apprentice” in 2006.
