The lineup of the Beale Street Music Festival just got a little bigger. Last month, festival organizers announced the roster of performers for the 43rd edition of the multi-day concert event, led by hip-hop superstar Cardi B, multiplatinum jam-pop band the Dave Matthews Band, rock hitmakers The Killers and acclaimed R&B singer Khalid.

The music fest will host some 60-plus acts as it kicks off the month-long Memphis in May festivities, which include the World Championship Barbecue Cooking Contest, Celebrate Memphis and The Great American River Run.

On March 7, Memphis in May confirmed that it had added alt-rock band Everclear and The Claypool Lennon Delirium — a new collaboration between Les Claypool of Primus and Sean Lennon — to the festival. Indie pop act Echosmith and fast-rising Memphis rappers Kevo Muney and Action Pack AP will also appear.

In a statement, Memphis in May President and CEO James Holt noted that the event already had a “very strong lineup covering a wide variety of musical genres... but felt these additions will resonate with our rock fans and increase the number of local performers onstage, making a great lineup even better.”

Three-day passes for the Beale Street Music Festival, which runs May 3-5 at Tom Lee Park, are $135; single-day tickets are $55. A limited number of VIP passes are also available for $649. Tickets are available at eventbrite.com.
