Chelsea Clinton coming to Memphis to promote book
Chelsea Clinton is coming to Memphis where she’ll discuss her new children’s book about endangered animals at the Memphis Zoo.
Clinton’s book, “Don’t Let Them Disappear: Twelve Endangered Species Across the Globe,” goes on sale April 2. The book introduces young readers to a selection of endangered animals including rhinos, tigers, whales and pandas and shares why they are special and what threatens them, according to a news release from the zoo. It also provides tips on how to prevent the extinction of those animals.
Clinton, the daughter of former U.S. President Bill Clinton and former U.S. Secretary of State and 2016 presidential candidate Hillary Clinton, is author of the New York Times bestselling picture book “She Persisted: 13 American Women Who Changed the World.” She has written several other books and is also the vice chair of the Clinton Foundation.
